Jon Dibben unveils Fairtrade & Fairmined gold collar

Posted by Rachel - 23 September 2012

Here’s a little sneak preview of my latest piece!

To celebrate our involvement with Goldsmiths' Fair, in what is their 30th anniversary year, we will be unveiling an impressive Fairtrade and Fairmined ecological white gold collar. Hand carved Beryls,  Aquamarines, blue Tourmalines and yellow Beryls, are all mounted in individual settings, with traceable diamonds from Australia and Canada scattered between the stones in elegant gold tendrils.

I have been collecting the stones over many years, and have had the positioning mocked up for at least 5 years, but I could never quite work out how to link it in a time efficient and attractive way. In the end we just forgot about being sensible with the time, and I let this design slowly come together, heavily influenced by the style of our Meadow rings. I am really happy with the outcome; it is beautiful and striking, but also very subtle and wearable.

Please see my previous post for opeing times and the address. We look forward to seeing you!
