Having become quite accustomed to the stately surroundings of Somerset House, I will be back there again at the end of this month for Hallmark Salon. The event replaces the Pavilion exhibition of previous years, and is the baby of Paul Dyson, who has organised so many fantastic design exhibitions on behalf of the Goldsmiths' Company in the past. Now striking out as an independent director, Paul has gathered together a huge array of jewellery-making and silversmithing talent in this beautiful setting once again. It's a great opportunity for jewellery lovers to browse, talk to designers, and to buy direct from them, and if you're looking for a special piece, there's only one place to come.
