Chris, goldsmith and general raconteur, has been documenting some of the processes from his day to day workshop life. Hope you enjoy the films.
This is half of a pair of articulated amethyst earrings which I've been making for a customer. The design is to match her favourite ring. I'm using my PUK welder (no, I've got no idea what it stands for either...) to join what will become the ear wire to the central section. ChrisÂ
