...pictures do not do Yen’s work justice, you have to see how the cunningly articulated silver and gold shapes fall and move when they’re being worn. Katrina Burroughs, The Sunday Times.

Yen Embellish oxidised silver and freshwater pearl bracelet

Born in Vietnam, Yen came to England in the 1980s and spent her early childhood in the Brecon Beacons. On graduating from Sir John Cass in 1995 she was presented with the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths Jewellery Award.

Yen's Embellish range takes her signature Molecule collection, of hundreds of repetitive handmade elements, and combines these with semi-precious and precious stones.

Freshwater pearls are scattered through the oxidised silver bracelet, creating contrast and a subtle gothic feel in a feminine and wearable piece.

Yen has worked from her Bloomsbury studio for sixteen years and sells through a range of prestigious galleries and exhibitions. Jon Dibben has been selling her work since she graduated.
