I originally developed this design as a dress ring, but it was soon quite obvious that it would also have appeal as an engagement ring. We haven’t actually made the matching wedding ring yet, although I can picture it perfectly in my head, and it looks great!

Floral platinum ring with marquise cut diamond and sapphires
Two of Jon’s sources of inspiration; nature and unusual shapes of stone, combine in his floral collection
The marquise cut stones evoke natural forms, lending themselves to the flowing, sculptural shapes, which give the designs their elegance.
It took a long time to achieve exactly the right positioning of the setting, but the result is a natural, harmonious balance.
