Jon is one of the first jewellery designers in the world to launch collections
and one off pieces bearing the dual stamp of the Fairtrade and Fairmined marks.
Fairtrade and Fairmined certified gold is the world’s first independent
ethical certification system for gold and associated precious metals. It is aimed
at creating an improved and monitored working environment for
impoverished small-scale and artisanal miners.
Jon’s designs use white, yellow or red gold and where possible,
ethically sourced gemstones. His most recent design uses Fairtrade and Fairmined Ecological gold, extracted without the use of chemicals, with minimum ecological disruption and ensuring environmental restoration
